"
CRISTAL" offers Compact and reliable low-cost
miniature type Level
Switch suitable for side mounting in small tanks and containers. Can be
used for wide range of liquids.
Principle of operation : The unit consists of - A
vertical guided
tube (stem) within which are located the sensor switches,
Magnetic
float sliding over the stem according to the level in the tank,Switch
housing & necessary mounting connection. The switch used is reed
switch hermetically sealed and encapsulated in the stem. Because the
switches operat on the principle of magnetic-flux coupling with no
mechanical connection, fluid contanination of Switch components cannot
occur.
Typical applications of these types are
automatic vending machine,
photocopies, small collection tanks, miniature pumping stations, pilot
plants and similar small system applications.
Materials of Construction : Switch Data - Hermetically sealed
magnetically operated reed switch with Rhodium contact completely
isolated from medium. SPST contacts having current rating 25 W.
Factory set level accuracy within 2mm. Differential 5mm std.
Repeatability better than + 0.5 mm. No maintenance required.
Process Connetion :
SS flange 75mm OD, 60MM PCD with 47 bolt holes of 6mm
Φ is std.
SS-316 stem of desired length with PP float of 40mm dia. x 30mm long.
Switch Terminal Housing : Moulded plastic weather-proof construction is
std.Model : CLT-700. Suitable up to 2 kg/cm2 working
pressure and
temp. of 700C.
For boiler & other heavy duty applications, other std. models with
weather-proof / flame-proof construction are also availoable at short
notice. |
